Cato Unbound

Today inaugurates Cato Unbound, an online weblog published monthly by the libertarian Cato Institute. Each issue will publish one thematic essay by a well-known scholar, then allow for a round of comments and responses by other respected thinkers, or in their own glowing terms:

a state-of-the-art virtual trading floor in the intellectual marketplace, specializing in the exchange of big ideas.
In the first issue, nobel prize-winning economist James Buchanan answers the question put to him: "“If you could add any three amendments to the Constitution, what would they be?"” His answer: "Three Amendments: Responsibility, Generality, and Natural Liberty."
