Happy Face of Technology

Technology makes me smile. But today in France it made the first face transplant patient and her doctor cry with glee.

Conventional cosmetic surgey could not restore the extensive damage to her face in appearance or functionality, after the patient was mauled by an adopted dog, since euthenized. Doctors and friends are impressed with the operation's sucess in replecating her skin tone and texture.

I've heard a lot of people waxing on about the deep emotional damage that might be caused by the recipient of a new face. They claim that the human mind upon looking into a mirror and seeing someone else's face just couldn't handle the change. Anyone who could think of something so stupid, has obviously never done acid.
