Pigs that glow in the dark, and shine green in the sun, that's the scientific breakthrough of the moment. Scientists in Taiwan have bred them by inserting the DNA of jellyfish into otherwise normal pigs.
With any luck, these green wieners will be bred to feed a retirement home of wolves suffering glaucoma and depression from missing their prey by several yards, Onion researchers hope. But really, not to cry wolf, here's the BBC article.
Bonus: In other serious news of science experiments gotten out of hand, here's a postcard from one girl who learned a tough lesson about getting drunk with study-strained med students with a healthy dose of humor.
